How does a pool cleaning robot work?

Pool cleaning robots are devices that automatically clean pools. They typically have specialized models that can move underwater and utilize different cleaning methods. The general working principle of pool cleaning robots is as follows:

Power source: Pool cleaning robots are electrically powered. They are usually connected to a power source (plug or battery).

Movement system: Robots use a special movement system to move around in the pool. This system is usually equipped with wheels or rollers. Some robots move using water jets or propellers.

Cleaning method: Pool cleaning robots can use different cleaning methods. One or more brushes, usually located on the underside of the robot, are used to clean dirt and sticky substances from the pool surface. Some robots can also collect sediment and particles in the pool by suctioning or filtering the water.  Sensors: The robots are equipped with several sensors that allow them to move precisely around the pool and perceive their surroundings. Thanks to these sensors, the robot can move without colliding with pool walls, stairs, or other obstacles.

Automatic control: Pool cleaning robots generally operate automatically. They have several programmable options. Users can adjust the robot's cleaning time, movement paths, or cleaning depth. Some robots are equipped with intelligent sensors that can detect the size and shape of the pool and determine the most effective cleaning path.

Filtration system: Pool cleaning robots hold collected dirt and particles in a temporary storage area. This storage device is usually a filter or dust bag. After the cleaning process is complete, the user can clean the device by removing the accumulated dirt.
