Is it possible to enter the pool after removing chlorine?

Chlorine is a chemical used to clean pool water and kill bacteria. Chlorine does not take effect immediately after being thrown into the pool. Chlorine needs time to react with water and become active. Once the chlorine is activated, it kills the bacteria and microorganisms present in the pool water.
